Best things since sliced bread.I have never used this connector design before and found that it is so much easier than manually applying solder. Used the Wagner HT400 heat gun on a test connection and it uniformly melted the solder, adhesive and tubing. I took it one step further and ran a continuity check with with the joint under water and no increase in resistance at all. Great design.

Very good product, easy to use and very strong joint once you heat it with the electric cable. Would recommend to other seller. Of course I will buy more and more soon.

Where have these been all my life!? It was so easy to splice the wires on my trailer. I used a propane torch being careful to let it heat the shrink wrap and not burn it. The solder ring started to disform a little right after the shrink wrap shrunk. Then it melted. It took a while longer than I expected to harden and I had to hold the wire still while it was cooling down. When it was done, the connection was perfect! Just strip a little, and I mean very little, wire. Push the two wires together from each end letting them overlap in the middle where the solder is. Heat and hold. You are done

Perfect! quickly and accurately! thank you! recommend

Works great! Very fast to solder wires this way! AND 100% water proof like they said!

My friend from Navy told me it's what they have used on their ships and it gives me full confidence. Bought a set and tested it at home and it works perfect. No wonder it is used by the military.

Quality looks excellent, I haven’t actually used any yet but finish and sizing look exactly as expected, definitely happy with purchase and would gladly buy again

Great item for quick and high quality cable connections. Solder low melting, tubing refractory, resulting in a lighter fine опрессовывается. Insulation is off, and solder inside melted. Recommend to everyone.

What can I say? Worked like a charm. I just used these in my engine bay rewiring in my WOT box. I started with a heat gun but it was not focused enough and was distributing heat to too much of the surroundings and so I stopped before it could affect these. I instead went and grabbed a small Benzomatic torch, which are inexpensive and have no cords obviously so you can use it in a tight place. This worked great. A little technique helps too: start at one end and apply heat until it shrinks and move to the middle. Then go to the other side and again work to the middle. This heats the outer ends of the wire so the solder will flow outwards. Heat the solder ring until you .ee it melt and flow. Then ensure the hot melt rings are adequately melted. Note that the hot melt can catch fire and burn through the shrink tube. This doesn't always happen but it can. This didn't bother me. After it all cooled, the hot melt and shrink tube together were still tight seal

Awesome, awesome. These things really work. Not as advertised but they do work well. When using a high powered heat gun (necessary to melt the solder) the plastic shrink tube material shrinks and melts WAY before the solder. You have to trust that heating enough to melt the solder is not going to completely destroy the shrink tube. It hasn’t yet. The design is very well thought out and executed. On each side of the solder joint there are small colored sleeves that are there for a purpose. They shrink quickly and hold the two wire ends together as the rest of the magic is happening (wires are NOT falling apart while in process). These also seal each side of the connection solidly, even more than the shrink tube

This is a must for any of us car rebuilders. I mean that is so cool, one of the nicest thing I ever used. I like it. Thanks
